Meet at ATTA Elevate in Catalonia

The adventure travel sector is valued at USD1 trillion according to the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA). It’s not just a powerful economic driver but also a catalyst for equitable tourism where almost 80% of visitors’ spending is kept in destinations (source: ATTA).

That figure is impressive compared to mass tourism where leakage (aka revenues leaving the country) can be as high as 80%, leaving only 20% in regions like the Caribbean according to the Travel Foundation.

I’m therefore delighted to be presenting the closing Key Note at ATTA Adventure Elevate Catalonia in the beautiful region of Val d’Aran on the Art of Balance.
